New

New: Play counts, song credits, artist discographies & Spotify mini-player

ROSTR's goal has always been to make it as easy as possible for you to find the information you need to do your job.

We started with the deepest team and contact data anywhere in the industry, but ROSTR has become a lot more than that. Today, an artist's profile gives you the whole picture: their team, their bio, their stats, their touring footprint.

And now, their music too. Play counts on their top tracks, song credits, and their complete discography. For the first time, you can actually listen to artists on ROSTR without leaving what you're doing.

New in this release:

  1. Real play data on top tracks. Artist profiles now surface an artist's top tracks with play counts, release dates, and durations, so you can see what's actually connecting with audiences at a glance.

  2. Listen as you scout. Hit play on any track and a mini player docks at the bottom of the screen. It keeps playing as you move through the artist's team, their data, and the rest of ROSTR.

  3. Song Credits. Click any track to open its song credits: the label that released it, songwriters, A&Rs, producers, and engineers. The people who actually shape the music are now part of the profile, not buried in liner notes.

  4. Full Discography. The Media tab now houses the artist's complete catalog of albums, singles, and EPs, laid out as cover art and filterable by release type. One click opens any release for full playback.

The intelligence platform for modern music professionals

This is the first step in a whole wave of new data coming to ROSTR. New signals, new context, new ways to understand the industry and the artists, executives, and companies behind it. Every release is built around one goal: give you what you need to do your job better, faster, and with more of an edge.

We're building this with you. If there's data you'd love to see in ROSTR, drop us a feature request. We read every one.

Introducing About Sections on Company Profiles

When we launched ROSTR 2.0, one of the most popular additions was the upgraded About tab on artist profiles, a place to get real context on who an artist is and why they matter. Today we're bringing the same approach to company profiles.

Company profiles now have their own About description, plus a new Year Founded field.

Real context on every company

The About section sits at the top of the Overview tab on any company profile. It's a short, structured summary of what the company does, when it was founded, and the role it plays in the music industry. Enough to get oriented in a few seconds, without having to open three other tabs or run a separate Google search.

You'll also see the same overview surface in the company preview panel, so you get the context whether you're deep on a profile or just clicking through results.

Built on AI-powered search, tuned for ROSTR

About sections are written using AI-powered search and intelligence built specifically for ROSTR, drawing from publicly available sources to produce a consistent, scannable overview of each company.

About sections are live on company profiles in ROSTR. We've started with the most-viewed companies and will keep expanding coverage from here.
